Calculations and browser storage

Calculations run on your device. Makeatimer does not send your calculator inputs to a calculation server and does not have user accounts. Theme, sound preferences, and favourites are stored in your browser’s local storage. Active timing state is stored in session storage for recovery within the same tab. Clear site data in your browser to remove this information.

Share links

Share links place your inputs in the URL fragment, after the # character. The fragment is not part of the page’s HTTP request. Recipients and scripts running on the page can read it, so do not use a shared link for confidential information.

Page delivery

When hosted, the site’s infrastructure provider processes connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the website. Makeatimer does not maintain a separate database of calculator inputs.

Contact messages

If you email us, we use the information you provide to respond and investigate your request. Avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for resolving the issue.

Advertising

Google’s consent manager collects and stores your privacy choices. Its published message is delivered through Google's AdSense base tag. Google processes connection and device information to deliver the message and determine which regional choices apply. Where European choices apply, use Privacy choices in the footer to reopen the message and change or withdraw your decision. Your choices are supplied to Google’s advertising services when advertising is enabled.

See Google’s privacy policy and its partner-site privacy information. Refusing consent or blocking these scripts does not prevent you from using the tools.

Advertising is disabled in this version. Makeatimer requests no ads and loads no analytics scripts.
